A native of Korea, Kwiran Lee studied at the Ewha Women’s University and the Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester in US.
She completed her Doctor of Musical Arts in piano performance under Rebecca Penneys. She also studied Accompanying as her minor field under Jean Barr.
At Eastman she has worked as Graduate Award Accompanist.
In 2002 she moved to New Zealand and worked as soloist and chamber musician.
She has performed at the University of Canterbury, the Great Hall of the Arts Centre and Nelson School of Music.
Currently, she works as lecturer at the Ewha Women’s University in Seoul, Korea.
