Frauke Tometten-Molino
Frauke Tometten-Molino, born in Germany, studied in Detmold, Germany with Nobuko Imai and thanks to a fellowship of the Indiana University in Bloomington (USA) with Atar Arad.
She was a member of the Tibor-Varga-Chamber-Orchestra, solo violist in the European Community Youth Orchestra and at the Münster City Theatre (Germany).
From 1993 - 2000 she toured as founding member of the Corda quartet through Europe, to the USA, Australia, Canada and Thailand. She has recorded several CDs for the Italian label Stradivarius and other record companies.
Since 1994 she holds the position as Sub- principal violist Zurich Chamber Orchestra, she gives concerts with her orchestra, as soloist and chamber musician in various formations all over the world.
